Went to sleep after dawn
Question
Answer
Shalom Rav
There is a difference in this ruling between Ashkenazim and Sephardim:
An Ashkenazi cannot recite the blessings 'Elokai Neshamah', the blessings of the Torah, and the blessing 'Hamaavir Sheinah'. The other blessings are recited in the morning as usual.
[If there is no one obligated in the blessing to fulfill his obligation by listening, he can intend to fulfill 'Elokai Neshamah' - in the blessing of 'Mechayei HaMeitim' in the Amidah. And the blessings of the Torah - in 'Ahavah Rabbah'].
A Sephardi recites all the blessings, except 'Al Netilat Yadayim' for the morning washing.
And an Ashkenazi can fulfill his obligation in the aforementioned blessings from a Sephardi who is obligated to recite them. Similarly, a Sephardi can fulfill his obligation from an Ashkenazi in the blessing of 'Al Netilat Yadayim'.
