Yichud with a Foreign Caregiver and a Dependent Woman

Dear Rabbi shlita, Regarding the laws of Yichud. My mother is scheduled to return home tomorrow from the hospital in a state of full dependency. Until now, the non-Jewish caregiver did not stay overnight, and we managed by giving keys to several neighbors, and the children would come without prior notice. Now that she needs to stay overnight, and essentially only my father is present in the apartment. A. Do cameras help in the matter of Yichud, as in bakeries and slaughterhouses? B. If so, how many cameras need to be installed? Also in rooms where my father does not enter at night? C. Regarding Friday night - does it help that it can be seen in the memory what happened after Shabbat, since it is not possible to watch at the time of the act? Thank you

You did not specify in your question the state of understanding of your mother. 

If she is in a state where she knows and understands, there is no concern of Yichud with your father, because 'his wife guards him'. 

However, if she is in a state of lack of understanding, this permission will not help. There needs to be a 'shomer', meaning a person who can enter even at night sometimes.

According to the instructions of the Gaon, Rabbi Avraham Fried, shlita, cameras do not help to prevent Yichud unless someone is currently watching the camera, and not when it is only theoretically possible to view the recording. And certainly, it will not help when the recording is on Shabbat and viewing can only occur after Shabbat.
